Chair's Address

Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to 2024 and our new Programme.

RTG might be a year older and much changes over the years, however our purpose remains the same: to provide quality CPD events to our membership and facilitate connections within our community. There is still some appetite for local CPD as we see from your feedback so we will continue organising our events for the time being.

We are pleased to present to you our 2024 Programme. We wanted it to be varied in topics and approaches so it would appeal to our diverse membership and would enhance our professional development. As always, we looked at your comments andsuggestions, and believe our seminars will be stimulating and interesting.

As a member, you will be able to attend 8 evening seminars for free, giving you 12 hours of CPD. This membership will also give you discounts for workshops. Occasionally we are able to offer workshops free for our members too. We will notify you of our upcoming events and will provide you with certificates of attendance.

Your feedback shows that more people prefer evening seminars to be online and Saturdays events in person. We will continue in that format for now.

RTG finances are in good shape so we are keeping same membership fees this year: £45 before 31 December 2023 and £50 afterwards. Online seminars save us on room rental allowing us to increase speakers’ fee in respect of their work. It also opens possibilities of inviting interesting presenters from further afield including from abroad.

Application forms can be completed online in an easy and environmentally friendly way. You can also download the Application Form, complete and post it to the address provided on the form.

If you want this organisation to continue running CPD events, please come and help us with that by joining the Committee. Your support with that would be invaluable.

We hope you choose to join RTG again, and look forward to seeing you in 2024.
